Connecting the world through logistics

Connecting the world
on one system.

Seoul to Los Angeles. Chiba back to Seoul.

The goods cross borders. The system that moves them is one.

The Problem

Cross a border and logistics disconnects.

When a brand that sells at home expands into the US and Japan, the connections do not multiply — they fragment. A different 3PL per country, a different system per country, a different data model per country.

  • Inventory scatters across three places, and nobody knows in real time how much is where.

  • Order data arrives in three formats, so joining it up ends up being a person with a spreadsheet.

  • An operational improvement made in one market never crosses to the others.

So Techtaka reversed the order.

We build a system and a process that run anywhere first, and connect the markets on top of it. Having three entities is what the connection produced, not the strategy.

Our Name

The name comes from tiki-taka. So does the way we work.

In tiki-taka nobody holds the ball. The game is built from short, fast, accurate passes, one after another. Add tech to it and you get Techtaka — and that is how we move skill between people, and goods across the world.

Between people

We pass skill, not the ball.

What one person works out moves to the person beside them, and comes back in a better form. Which is why the company's growth and each person's growth are not separate things.

Between markets

The same principle, applied to goods.

What works between people, we apply to what moves. We build the system that lets the world's goods pass easily, quickly and accurately.

What makes a pass work

Tiki-taka works for four specific reasons. Each of those four is also a logistics problem.

01

Keep it short

In football

Long balls get intercepted. Tiki-taka shortens the distance and so removes the failure itself.

In logistics

Every hand goods pass through adds error and delay. Removing steps is the most reliable way to raise accuracy.

It is why we hold our own entity in all three markets and run even partner centers on the one ARGO. We add buildings; we do not add systems.See the network

02

Never stop the ball

In football

Good teams release on the first touch. The moment you hold the ball, the defence sets itself.

In logistics

Inventory standing still is cost. From receiving to the customer, we remove the stretches where goods wait.

Orders, inventory and outbound sit on one data model, so no queue forms between stages.See the platform

03

Be there already

In football

A pass only works if the receiver is already in position. Half of a good pass is movement off the ball.

In logistics

Moving after the order arrives is already too late. Put what will sell where it will sell, before it sells.

It is why demand forecasting is the first of the five modules, not an add-on.See the platform

04

Share one agreement

In football

Eleven players share one set of rules, which is why the pass goes without anyone looking behind them.

In logistics

If three countries' floors work to different standards, the connection has to be renegotiated every time.

Seoul, Los Angeles and Chiba run the same system and the same standard operating procedure.Fulfillment

The System

The whole of logistics, on one data model.

Five modules — from demand forecasting through to delivery — share the same data inside a single platform, ARGO. There is no integration step between them.

CMS

Commerce

Manages products scattered across multiple e-commerce platforms from one place.

OMS

Orders

Reads the shape of orders collected across channels and routes each to the optimal center automatically.

WMS

Warehouse

Runs receiving through outbound simply and accurately on an automated system.

TMS

Transport

Sees delivery status before the customer does, and raises issues in real time.

SCM

Supply chain

Runs inventory efficiently off AI demand forecasting.

Why it has to be built in-house

Because there is one data model, entering a new market is a configuration exercise rather than a rebuild.

The Process

Software alone does not make logistics work.

Identical systems still produce different results if the floor operates differently. Techtaka builds the standard operating procedure that runs identically in Seoul, Los Angeles and Chiba.

Delivery Guarantee

Korea's delivery-guarantee services largely run through here.

We began as a core technology partner in the Naver Fulfillment Alliance. Today five channels' guaranteed-delivery orders are fulfilled from one pool of inventory.

  1. Q1 2022

    Joined the Naver Fulfillment Alliance

Backed continuously by Naver D2SF from seed through Series A and B, we joined as a core technology partner in Naver Commerce's fulfillment infrastructure.

  2. Q3 2023

    Operating N-Delivery guaranteed arrival

    Starting with same-day arrival for orders placed by 11am, then seven-day-a-week same-day delivery in Q4 2024 and nationwide Sunday delivery in Q2 2025 — a 365-day guaranteed-arrival infrastructure.

  3. Q2 2026

Awarded the returns hub and fashion-specialist center

A reverse-logistics hub consolidating all directly-contracted Naver return volume, together with fulfillment infrastructure dedicated to the fashion and beauty verticals.

Multi-channel guaranteed delivery

One pool of inventory serves guaranteed-delivery orders across several channels at once. Nothing has to be split and reserved per channel.
